The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines —  Sen. Bong Go on Wednesday distributed aid to 228 families affected by a fire in Barangay Tanyag, Taguig.

Grocery packs, snacks, fans, shirts, vitamins, basketballs and volleyballs were given to fire victims. Select beneficiaries also received mobile phones, bicycles, a watch and shoes.

“Don’t lose hope,” Go told the fire victims.

He acknowledged Senators Alan and Pia Cayetano, Mayor Lani Cayetano and Vice Mayor Arvin Alit, among others.

As vice chairman of the Senate finance panel, Go supported the procurement of ambulances, patrol cars and a dump truck in the city.

Aside from helping fire victims, Go attended the opening ceremony of the All-Star Basketball Friendship Game in Quezon City.

He also went to the Oriental Mindoro mayors’ Christmas party on Wednesday.
