New NAIA operator hikes service fees
MANILA, Philippines — Increased meet and assist service fees, from P800 to P8,000 per person, have been imposed by the new operator of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
The New NAIA Infrastructure Corp. (NNIC) has expanded the service fees after taking control of the country’s main gateway on Sept. 14.
Three other service options have been offered by the NNIC, valued at P50,000 for up to nine passengers, P100,000 for 10 to 20 passengers and P140,000 for 21 to 30 passengers.
The VIP Lounge accommodation is strictly for up to 10 people and offers at least three to four guest passes, the NNIC noted.
An additional P201.60 will be charged if the number of guests exceeds 10.
On Oct. 1, parking fees at the NAIA increased following the transition of management and operations to the NNIC.
Service fees were adjusted to enhance facilities and deter non-passengers from parking for extended period of time, the San Miguel led-NNIC said.
