MANILA, Philippines — A man was arrested for wearing a Philippine National Police (PNP) shirt and carrying an improvised gun in Pasay City on Thursday night.
Police officers on patrol saw Gilberto Alimong Daduma, 24, along NAIA Avenue beside Catcat Bridge at around 10 p.m., police said.
He was wearing the PNP athletic shirt, police said.
Police officers later seized from Daduma an improvised handgun, loaded with 12-gauge live ammunition, placed in a sack.
Probers have yet to find out how Daduma acquired the shirt and gun.
He faces charges of illegal use of uniform or insignia and illegal possession of firearm in relation to the Omnibus Election Code.
