Housewife claims P46-M lotto pot

MANILA, Philippines - A 60-year-old housewife from Southern Leyte claimed last Friday the P46-million jackpot of the 6/45 Mega Lotto July 31 draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said yesterday.

Jose Ferdinand Rojas II, PCSO general manager, said the lucky bettor picked the winning six-digit combination of 4-11-39-13-33-43 which had a jackpot of P46,125,144.

He said the winner, who has been a lotto bettor for the past six years, plans to donate a portion of her winnings to the church, buy a house and lot, and share the money with her six children.

A bettor from Bulacan, meanwhile, grabbed the P23,301,496 jackpot of the 6/42 online game on Aug. 2 with the winning number combination of 11-42-5-10-27-22.
