LAGUNA, Philippines – This province is one of the most livable places in the country among investors and individuals based on a nationwide opinion survey conducted by the Philippine Information Agency (PIA).
This is thanks to the good governance of Gov. Jeorge “E.R.” Ejercito Estregan and the efforts of the local police force to maintain peace and order.
The PIA survey identified Estregan’s trade and commerce policies and infrastructure projects as among the reasons why local and foreign investors want to put up businesses in Laguna.
Estregan aims to generate more income for the province by convincing more foreign businessmen to invest in Laguna.
For its part, the provincial police command under Senior Superintendent Gilbert Cruz has stepped up its crime prevention measures to protect both the residents and the business sector.
According to the PIA survey, Laguna, Nueva Ecija and Batangas are among the provinces considered by investors for their businesses due to the police crime solution rate in the past six months.
Laguna residents, the survey showed, believe that Estregan’s programs for better roads, bridges, buildings and flood control are among the factors that would bring progress to the province.
