A Camarines Norte vice mayor and his wife were killed while four others were injured after a truck smashed into their Mitsubishi Adventure along the Maharlika Highway in San Pablo City, Laguna yesterday morning.
Reports reaching Camp Crame identified the fatalities as Arnulfo Arenal and his wife, Perla.
As of press time, police were still checking the identities of the four injured, including a child.
Reports said the victims were on their way to Metro Manila when they met the accident. – Cecille Suerte Felipe
