Jing Rosales issued the appeal in an overseas call to The STAR since the suspect remains at large.
Through painstaking investigation, Rosales family identified a certain Garry Singh as the person who was driving the Isuzu Crosswind with specialized plates, HKC-888, that rammed their family-owned tricycle at around 10 p.m. last Feb. 7.
Singh also reportedly uses the alias Gutej Dhaliwal Singh. He has been charged with reckless imprudence resulting in multiple serious physical injuries and damage to property.
Sorsogon Regional Trial Court Branch 51 Judge Jose Madrid has issued a warrant of arrest for the Indian national.
Severely injured during the Feb. 7 mishap were Rosales younger sister, Rebecca Jebunan, 29; her husband Enrique; and their two children named Alohmica, 7, and Ariane, 6.
The victims were on their way back home to Barangay Bibingkahan from the town proper when they met the accident.
Rosales mother Adelaida Rosales has been in Manila for the past two weeks to follow-up the speedy development of the case with the Department of Justice.
"We just want the police to arrest the suspect and make him accountable because he has caused so much trauma to our family. He fled after the accident without even providing the family of any financial assistance. Neither did his family offered assistance," Rosales said.
