If you were edible, what would you be?

Eating is one thing all of us really enjoy doing. I havent met a Filipino who doesnt love to eat. We eat wherever we are, we talk about what to eat in the future even as we are eating, we dream about eating, we compare favorite foods. Food is so important that it can make or break our health or our day. Ever heard of the expression "You are what you eat?" So we asked people: What food best describes your character?
Carmina Villarroel, actress: Pasta. Any kind of pasta. Its easy to prepare and you can put any sauce you want on it. Just like me, Im easy to get along with. Im a people pleaser, magaan akong kasama.
Mandy Dela Rama-Santos, businesswoman: Id be salsa: red, hot and spicy!
Angela Montenegro, soon-to-be presidential daughter-in-law: Strawberry cake, thats what Mikey (Arroyo) said. Its because Im sweet!
Julius Babao, TV host, Talk TV: Turkey lean and mean. And since I was born on July 15, a Cancer sign, Im a crab in some ways tough outside and soft inside. Plus there are times I just keep to myself.
Johnny Litton, columnist/businessman: Foie gras with white truffles: subtle out, intense inside.
Jonjon Rufino, businessman: Im like my tom yum, a soup whose simple appearance does not reveal the mix of herbs and spices thats in it. Note the complex flavor that it yields to the tongue.
Korina Sanchez, anchor, TV Patrol: I can imagine myself as many dishes from starters all the way to dessert. Just one? A walnut? Tough to crack, it takes a bit of creativity and effort to break into, but worth the wait. And, oh my, when you get started, you cant have enough of it! Mixes well with many concoctions. Its versatile, basic, and has character.
Louie Ysmael, businessman: I wanted to say flambé but my wife Cecille didnt like it! Actually, Im spicy sweet and sour pork. Malambing and sungit who eats like a pig!
Martin Nievera, singer, TV host: I would be delicious, spicy and fun to eat. I am either swallowed or spat out: halo halo with Tabasco!
