Scent ambassador: Heart Evangelista shares love for perfumes
MANILA, Philippines — Actress and Filipino fashion icon Heart Evangelista gamely welcomed shoppers at the SM Makati concourse during the grand launch of Avon's new fragrances.
The early afternoon event was easily filled by shoppers and train commuters who flocked to the Avon kiosk, eager to get a glimpse of the fashionista actress.
"I'm so excited to be here in this SM and Avon partnership event. This is a dream come true for me. When I was 20, I almost worked with Avon. However, I was just starting my life then and still in need of a better chapter story — something that has ups and downs to share.
"I can't live without perfume. My first encounter with Eve Truth was through a gift from a friend. I love to mix it with the other products of the Avon range. It blends well with our body's PH, so it's different for each wearer.
"On the other hand, Eve Becoming is a perfume that is symbolic with each person. Share your imprint wherever you've been, especially that we seldom meet the same people again. This is a third in a series, so there'll be a few more," the actress said.
The global company has been around for more than 135 years, and it marks another milestone with its products now available at leading beauy and wellness store Watsons.
