LPA develops into Tropical Depression Isang

MANILA, Philippines — The low pressure area inside the Philippine area of responsibility has developed into a tropical depression as of Friday, 8 a.m.

In an advisory issued around 9:30 a.m., state weather bureau PAGASA said the LPA is now Tropical Depression Isang.

PAGASA will begin issuing regular Tropical Cyclone Bulletins starting at 11 a.m. to provide updates on the weather disturbance's movement and potential impacts.

The LPA was last seen around 150 kilometers east of Baler, Aurora, at 3 a.m. today, based on PAGASA's 4 a.m. bulletin.
