Real estate agent from Batangas wins P10-M lotto jackpot

MANILA, Philippines - A real estate broker from Batangas on Wednesday claimed the P10.4 million 6/42 lotto pot drawn last March 14.

Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) acting chairman and general manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas said the winning bettor placed the winning combination of 04-06-10-17-22-28.

Rojas said the lone winner is 58 years old, a native of Batangas, has a wife and three children. The winner placed the winning P40 bet using a combination of the birthdates of his relatives.

According to Rojas, the winner has been placing lotto bets since 1995.

“He (winner) plans to pay off his debts, invest in business and save for his childrens’ education,” said Rojas.

Rojas personally handed over the check to the winner at the PCSO main office in Mandaluyong City.

Rojas said the winner narrated how he had a hard time making a living as a real estate broker that he also ventured into selling memorial plans.
