‘The Glory’ star Lee Do Hyun finishes mandatory military service

MANILA, Philippines — Korean star Lee Do-hyun has been discharged from Korea’s Air Force on Tuesday.
The star of hit Korean shows “The Glory” and “Sweet Home” finished his mandatory military service after 21 months. He enlisted in the South Korean military on August 14, 2023.
"I'm relieved that I did my best in the military service without regrets! And thanks to all the fans who love and care for me, the military members of our Air Force Band, and the executives, I think I have discharged myself with happy memories and a good heart," read the translated of his Instagram post today.
Do-hyun’s return to the spotlight is anticipated by fans after seeing him star in hit after hit series and movies.
Apart from the previously mentioned projects, Do-hyun also starrred in other popular series, such as “Prison Playbook” and “Death’s Game.”
On the screen, he starred in “Exhuma,” the highest-grossing South Korean film of 2024 with box-office gross of $93.9 million. “Exhuma” is also considered the sixth highest-grossing South Korean film of all time, trailing behind 2017’s “Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds.”
