Why John Prats feels relationship with Isabel Oli is special

MANILA, Philippines - â€œWell, ang message ko naman kay Isabel, 'Basta standby ka lang d'yan',” John Prats said when asked about his plans to propose and settling down with girlfriend Isabel Oli.

In previous interviews with the press, the ABS-CBN talent said he feels Isabel is ready to settle down. John also admitted he's excited for and “looking forward” to the day  when he finally asks for the actress' hand in marriage.

“I just want her to be ready, but gusto ko talagang mapasaya siya. Ang masasabi ko lang, malapit na malapit na,” the 30-year-old actor-host said.

He further said: “Basta yung araw na yun, hindi ako makapagsalita but I'm really excited. Kasi ang sinasabi ko na gusto ko gawin yung journey din as a man, yung luluhod ako, then the preparation of the wedding, then the wedding day, then babies agad. Yun ang plano ko talaga.”

“And nakikita ko naman sa kanya yun. Malalaman n'yo naman.”

What makes his relationship with Isabel special? John said that what he has with the actress is “more mature.”

“Mas lamang yung friendship. Parang mas 90 percent friends kami, and then the 10 percent is the relationship, yung lovers talaga,” he explained. “And I think that's the most important, na kaya namin sabihin sa isa't isa kung ano yung nararamdaman namin. We can talk about our exes na walang magagalit.”

John also feels Isabel is “wife and mother material.”

According to John, Isabel's contract with GMA-7 expired last year, allowing her to do guest appearances on ABS-CBN shows, including the recently-concluded “Annaliza.”

He is happy his girlfriend was able to appear in the Kapamilya network and admits wanting Isabel to become an ABS-CBN talent. “Ginusto ko rin talaga. Magaling si Liv, e. Nakita ko sa mga guestings niya... nakita ko magaling. Feeling ko pang ABS-CBN talaga si Liv. And kung ako tatanungin, I want her to be part of ABS-CBN.”

John spoke to the press to promote “Pinoy Big Brother All In,” the latest season of the long-running ABS-CBN reality show. He will host the contest's afternoon show “Uber” with Bianca Gonzalez, Toni Gonzaga, and Robi Domingo.
