MANILA, Philippines - Man of Steel director Zack Snyder (photo) has expressed his gratitude to Filipinos via a video message for giving the movie “a huge, huge welcome†when it opened here two weeks ago, smashing the record for biggest first-day gross in history with P69.52M.
“Mabuhay Philippines! I’m Zack Snyder. Thank you for giving Man of Steel a huge, huge, huge welcome, becoming the Philippines’ biggest opening ever! Thank you so much,†Snyder, who previously directed 300 and Watchmen, said in his message.
