After a 69-73 debacle during their game against Tagaytay where they blew away several chances to steal the win in the the closing seconds of the match, Tribu Sugbu came up with a balanced offensive this time, hitting their targets with pinpoint accuracy to baffle the visiting Indons of coach Boysie Zamar.
While it was only Randy Sevilla who scored in double figures with 12 points, Tribu Sugbu was spreading its wealth from the field.
Indonesian guard Agustinus Dapas Sigar posted a game-high 18 points, while 6-of-8 skyscraper Agustinus Mendrik and Gandhi each had 11 points in a losing cause.
Tribu Sugbu coach Al Solis said their Talisay sojourn was a good tune-up for their upcoming match Pagadian Explorers at the start of the 2006 NBC-Spring National Cup quarterfinals on December 6.
