Cebu darters win big in San Carlos City tilt

Cebu's top darters composing the Cebu Ninos Darts team overpowered their opponents to win the team championships in the First RL Invitational Open Dart Tournament in San Carlos City.
The Ninos, composed of Alvin Villa, Roy Laude, Allan Bejuna and Jerous Ponce, won the title after overcoming a setback in the first game against Silay City.
The Silay City squad of Rommel Bagotayao, Diatoy Divinagracia, Ysmael Lumantao and Nilven Adina overpowered the Ninos in the first game, 2-3 to forge a decider.
The Ninos, then made their move to seal the match at 3-1.
The third and fourth placers in the four-man team competition were San Carlos City Dart's team and the organizing Badoy Darts' Club, respectively.
The doubles action, on the other hand, saw the tandem of Cebu's Peter Kairuz and San Carlos City's Payok Agraviador winning the top post.
Kairuz and Agraviador silenced Butchoy Bison of San Carlos and Silay's Melvin Adiva, 2-0.
Rommel Bagotayao and Julius Ferrer won third place while Ryan Tabuena and Jing-jing Faizan wound up fourth.
The Cebuanos also went home with runner-up trophy in the single's competition in the event sponsored by Ryan and Ligaya Tabuena.
Cebu's Roy Laude wound up second to Silay's Rommel Bagotayao, 1-2, in the single's competition.
Julius Ferrer and Dodong Allarci of San Carlos grabbed the third and fourth places, respectively.
