New Town’s McDonald’s Opens

CEBU, Philippines - Megaworld’s newest township, The Mactan Newtown, is officially open for business with the launch of McDonald’s, the biggest in Central Visayas in terms of seating capacity at 350.

Perched across the foyer, the new McDonald’s outlet in Lapu-Lapu City dons the food chain’s international market-wide design concept that leans towards modern and dynamic graphics with emphasis on comfortable dining experience with stools, lounges and family tables.  The over-100-square-meter outlet’s interiors bear the FORM style as represented by color splashes and stylized texts that show the corporate history and products (there’s a huge BIG MAC on the subdued-colored wall).

The usual amenities are offered in this two-floor edifice. The second floor functions as a birthday party area with party place for kids that can accommodate 100 guests. The in-store drive thru and McDonald’s Delivery System are to better serve costumers.

McDonald’s at the Mactan Newtown is open daily from 7AM to 11PM. (FREEMAN)
