CEBU, Philippines — The Profood International Group has announced its entry into the construction and industrial industries with the establishment of J Savers Integrated Solutions Inc., a joint venture with Luzon-based Savers Industrial and Building Solutions (SIBS).
Through this partnership, businesses, developers, and contractors in Cebu will now have direct access to high-quality industrial solutions, eliminating the need to source materials from Manila.
“This is an opportunity for developers to access construction materials and building solutions—including air conditioning, appliances, European modular furniture, building auxiliary systems, and more—directly in Cebu,” said J Savers Integrated Solutions Inc. chairman Justin Uy during the ceremonial Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing held at J Park Island Resort & Waterpark in Mactan Island.
This move is SIBS' second major partnership with the Uy family, following their collaboration with J Fiber, the exclusive distributor of Converge ICT Solutions, Inc. in Cebu and Bohol.
As a franchisee of SIBS in Cebu, J Savers Integrated Solutions Inc. is set to strengthen the availability of industrial and building solutions in the region.
According to Savers Group Holdings Inc. chairman and CEO Jaime “Jack” Uy, their entry into Cebu signals an aggressive expansion plan into the Visayas and Mindanao markets, having already established a strong presence in Luzon over the past 40 years.
Following its launch in Cebu, SIBS is also planning to establish franchise agreements in Bohol, General Santos, South Cotabato, and Southern Luzon.
As part of the agreement, J Savers Integrated Solutions Inc. will establish a warehouse showroom along A.C. Cortes Avenue, Mandaue City, said Justin Uy.
SIBS is one of the largest providers of integrated building solutions, specializing in: Air conditioning and refrigeration, Fire protection and security systems, Vertical transport solutions (elevators and escalators from Volkslift), Digital signage and displays, European modular furniture and interior solutions, among others.
Its entry into Cebu aligns with the growing demand for integrated building solutions, driven by the booming real estate and construction sector.
With a 40-year track record in appliances and building solutions, SIBS has established strongholds in key Luzon areas, including Pampanga, Bataan, Olongapo, Zambales, SBMA, Pangasinan, La Union, Manila, and Bulacan. Through franchise partnerships, SIBS has also expanded into Nueva Ecija and Aurora.
As Cebu continues to grow as a major economic and real estate hub, this partnership positions SIBS and J Savers Integrated Solutions Inc. as key players in the industrial and building sector.
