CEBU, Philippines – A Singapore-based human resource/organizational development consultancy firm, OTi (Organization Technology International) Consulting Pte. Ltd hopes top help Cebu Province develop a good pool of knowledge-based manpower in both private and public sectors.
The firm, which initially will hold public seminars in Cebu open to all interested participants at the Crystal Palace Convention Hall in Nivel Hills, to kick of its major entry in Cebu, said Romulo S. Romero, OTi Philippines, Inc., chief executive officer (CEO) and principal consultant.
OTi, which has expertise in boosting competitiveness in an organization, specializing in “total organizational renewal” is commissioned by the Singaporean government to provide trainings to all government employees in Singapore.
It is the company’s aim for Cebu, to adopt this kind of organizational renewal, in order to re-enforce its bid of becoming a global player in different industries, specifically if the local government unit
(LGU) is going to employ an organizational renewal that will encourage every government employee to be effective and productive in their respective tasks.

Initially, OTi will present this technology to the Cebu City government specifically Mayor Michael Rama, to employ OT to the city to make it more competitive.
One of the highlights of the seminars that will be held is to introduce the technology of the knowledge-based economy will change in individual personal perception will come from the seven competencies. These are the reading, writing, computation; learning to learn; communication for impact; creativity, problem solving and innovation; personal effectiveness; team effectiveness; leadership and organization effectiveness.
A one-day public training will also include the program that will emphasize on the three A’s of learning, these are; awareness of oneself, acceptance, and adapting to different situation.
