GE Money Bank waives start-up fees for new mortgage promo

-

GE Money Bank, a savings bank, recently launched a new mortgage promotion, offering prospective clients waived application fees on top of a compelling 7.49 percent interest rate fixed for the first year.

The promotion also waives the following charges: appraisal fee, mortgage registration fee, documentary stamp tax and notarial fee on approved and availed applications, giving customers much more than an ordinary mortgage loan.

According to Paz Gonzalez, Mortgage Product sales leader of GE Money Bank, “a lot of Filipinos are cost sensitive. They spend time to find ways to save that extra peso. This promo takes a load off their pockets because of the waived fees and very customer-friendly rates.”

“Total savings from the waiving of all fees could amount to as much as P30,000 for a P2-million loan,” said Agnes Bacani, Mortgage Product manager of GE Money Bank.

“And if a customer transfers his mortgage to GE Money Bank during the promo period, switching charges will also be waived, and with one of the lowest interest rates for the first-year,” Bacani added.

The new promotion follows the success of the recent mortgage promo, “Make Your Home a GE Home”,  which packaged a GE Profile refrigerator with the home loan. The highly successful campaign led to increased applications and volume for the Bank.

The new mortgage promotion is available for consumers nationwide from July 1 to Sept. 30, 2008.

Interested individuals may visit any of the 27 branches of GE Money Bank, call GE Money Bank’s customer service hotline at (02) 777-8500, or log-on to the website at www.gemoneybank.com.ph.
