Sandahan conducts demonstration farms in Puerto Princesa City, El Nido, Brookes’s Point, Narra and four other municipalities with rice, mango, bell pepper, corn, durian, banana and ornamental plants. With the application of the two agri-products, rice yields increased by more than 50 percent, reaching up to 180 cavans per hectare. The two products also increased the crop’s resistance to pest and diseases like black bug and diseases like bacterial leaf blight.
Two non-bearing mango trees – one 50 years old and another 20 years old, started to bear fruits after application of the soil conditioner and the bio-organic fertilizer. The other younger mango trees bore fruits earlier than the usual and had no pest and disease attacks..
Bell pepper planted in highly acidic soil (pH) three to four became vigorous and produced heavy yields upon application of the Exquisite products. Hybrid corn had two to three ears per panicle with length of seven to eight inches. Multi-stocked durian grew fast into strong plants against pests, diseases and typhoons for unhampered fruiting in just a matter of three to four years. For ornamentals like orchids the plants became very prolific with flowers. No pests and diseases were observed.
The Exquisite soil conditioner has other uses. When used in poultry there is no foul odor in the surroundings. In fish ponds, water becomes clear and lablab plants, a food for fish, grows very well.
