Pagadalhon niya ang papel sa usa ka tawo nga napiit sa kalibotan sa scamming.

Suma pa sa aktor nga swak ang teleserye sa iyang personal advocacy nga makahatag og lawom nga mensahe ngadto sa viewers partikular na ang mga mahagpat nga pagtulon-an.

“Lagi kong nirerequest sa ABS na pag may proyekto ako ay sana may social awareness at sana may mapupulot na aral yung mga tao pag pinanood nila because maraming distractions these days. We have scamming, we have social media, everything,” ni Gerald.

Ang "Sins of the Father” kay magtuki sa istorya ni Samuel Trinidad (Gerald) nga usa ka bank manager nga moumol og seryosong hukom human namatay ang iyang amahan nga nalambigit sa usa ka dakong scam.
