Bus driver, tag-iya giisyuhan og show cause order sa LTO

CEBU, Philippines — Ang Land Transportation Office (LTO)-7 niluwat og preventive suspension sa lisensiya sa bus driver nga nalambigit sa pagbangga sa tricycle sa Barangay Bonawon, Lungsod sa Siaton, Probinsiya sa Negros Oriental.

Si LTO-7 Director Glen Galario nikompirma nga si Julieto Labadia, bus driver nga naisyuhan og show cause order nga nag-require sa driver nga mo esplikar kabahin sa nahitabong aksidente nga nikutlo sa kinabuhi sa 69-anyos nga tricycle driver.

Nahitabo ang insidente niadtong Lunes, Mayo 19, 2025 sa ala 1:00 sa hapon.

Gikataho nga si Labadia nag-atubang og reklamo nga kalapasan sa Section 48(reckless driving) ug Section 27(improper person to operate motor vehicle) ubos sa Akta Republika 4136 kun “Land Transportation and Traffic Code”.

"Pending the investigation of the road accident in Siaton, we have suspended the license of the bus driver for 90 days and have asked him for a written explanation to be submitted to our office. He has until next week to submit his explanation", matud ni Galario.

Gimandoan ang driver sa pag-surrender sa iyahang lisensiya subay sa giisyu nga show cause order niadtong Miyekules, Mayo 21, 2025.

"We have also issued a show cause order to the owner of the bus, who is invited to appear personally and submit a written explanation or comment before the LTO-7 Operations Division on N. Bacalso Avenue in Cebu City", ni Galiardo pa.

Base sa report sa kapolisan nga ang tricycle nagbiyahe subay sa right lane dihang nabanggaan kini sa bus ug nalabay ang drayber. 

Nakaangkon og kadaot sa ulo ang tricycle driver ug gidala kini ngadto sa Siaton District Hospital apan nakabsan kini sa kinabuhi samtang ang tulo ka pasahero sa tricycle naangol usab.

Sayo pa, ang drayber sa bus nangangkon nga nabanggaan niya ang tricycle dihang nilikay siya sa gikasugat nga sakyanan apan base sa footage sa closed circuit television diha sa lugar nga walay gikasugat nga sakyanan ang bus.
