CEBU, Philippines — Moabot sa dul-an 70 milyones ka mga rehistradong botante ang magpanon karong adlawa sa nagkadaiyang polling centers sa nasud aron mobotar og 18,280 ka mga opisyales sa gobiyerno gikan sa pagka-senador hangtud sa pagka-konsehal sa munisipyo nunot sa 2025 National and Local Mid-Term Elections karong adlawa, Mayo 12,2025.

Kagahapong adlawa, bisperas sa midterm elections, si Presidente Ferdinand Marcos Jr. nanawagan sa mga Filipinos nga mogawas ug mopadayag sa ilang katungod nga mopili og mga lider ug protektahan ang integridad sa demokratikong proseso sa nasud.

Sa usa ka minutong video message nga gi-post sa official social media account kagahapon,  ang presidente miingon nga ang eleksyon katungod ug katungdanan sa mga Filipino.

"My fellow countrymen, in these elections, let us exercise our rights and fulfill our responsibilities as Filipino citizens," matud pa sa pangulo.

Matud pa niya, oportunidad kini aron madungog ang tingog sa tanan ug maninguhang makabaton og mas maayong nasud.

"This is an opportunity to hear everyone's voice and express the dreams that are important to you and the nation," dugang pa niya.

"Even though we may have different beliefs, that is essence of democracy. But differences of opinion should not lead to chaos or intimidation. We fight for our future through the ballots--not in the streets, not through violence," puno pa niini.

Giawhag niya ang tanan sa pagbotar og kandidatong dunay integridad, kasingkasing ug tinuoray nga kapasidad nga makaserbisyo, samtang giawhag niya ang mga kandidato nga respetuhon ang proseso sa eleksyon ug magpabiling dunay dignidad.

"So let's vote. Choose the honest, caring, and capable of serving. And to the candidates, let's respect the process. Let's end the election with dignity and peace," matud pa sa presidente.

Moabot sa dul-an 70 milyones ang registered voters sa tibuok Pilipinas nga gipaabot nga mobotar karong adlawa para sa bakanteng 18,280 ka pwesto gikan sa 14 ka lain-laing pwesto gikan sa pagka-senador ngadto na sa pagka konsehal sa mga siyudad ug kalungsoran.

"Let's work together to maintain a fair, peaceful, and just election. Thank you very much. Long live the Filipino people. Long live our democracy," awhag pa ni Marcos.

Giawhag sab ang tanan sa pag- monitor sa broadcast ug social media platforms sa PTV, IBC, Radyo Pilipinas-Radyo Publiko, Philippine Information Agency, ug Philippine News Agency pinaagi sa “Hatol ng Bayan 2025” coverage nga magsugod alas 5 a.m. sa Mayo 12 hangtud alas- 2 a.m. sa Mayo 13.
