Bill alang sa dugang allowance sa magtutudlo napirmahan na sa president

CEBU, Philippines — Si Kongresista Edu Rama sa Cebu City South District nipadayag sa iyang paghangop nga napirmahan na ang “Kabalikat sa Pagtuturo Act,” nga usa ka legislative measure nga naghatag og P10,000 nga teaching supplies allowance alang sa mga public school teacher.

Si Presidente Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. nipirma sa maong bill kagahapon sa hapon nga magdoble sa teaching supply allowance sa mga public school teachers gikan sa P5,000 ngadto sa P10,000 sugod sa 2025-2026 school year.

Si Rama kinsa miyembro sa House Committee on Basic Education and Culture usa sa mga principal authors sa bill.

"The increase of their teaching supplies allowance is long overdue; as this would help our public school teachers by ensuring that they don’t have to reach into their own pockets for classroom supplies", matud ni Rama.

Niadtong Disyembre 2023, ang Kongreso nipasar sa “Teaching Supplies Allowance Act” diin unang naaprobahan ang P7,500 alang sa school year 2024-2025 ug P20,000 alang sa school year 2025-2026.

Apan niadtong Marso 2024 pareho ang Kongreso ug Senado ni-ratified sa bill ngadto sa “Kabalikat sa Patuturo Act” sa pag-finalize sa allowance nga P5,000 alang sa next school year ug P10,000 human niini.

“We are forever grateful for the commitment and dedication of our public school teachers in shaping our nation’s youth. As a member of the House Committee on Basic Education and Culture, we are committed to ensuring that our educators get the help they need in performing their functions, which in turn shall improve the quality of education in the country”, padayag ni Rama.

Ang Sugboanong Kongresista nidayeg sa administrasyon ni Marcos sa role niini sa pagpasar sa maong importanteng balaodnon.
